THE VIDEOS

Both the following videos were made on a charity basis with the people involved giving their time and assistance freely. Every effort has therefore been made to pass on as much money as possible to the DOWN'S SYMDRONE ASSOCIATION.

"THE GWITHIAN SPORT KITE CLASSIC"

This video was filmed at the UK's first ever power kite festival in 1992. As well as showing record kite speed attempts, it includes footage of 2 world records. The first in kite buggy speed, and then the second in kite jumping. It marks the first steps in the sport of parakarting.

It was shot on hi band Umatic (broadcast quality) video by a professional crew. It lasts 30 minutes, and it accompanied by specially composed music.

"GWITHIAN"

A year after the first Festival here is the tale of the second. Many things have happened over the preceeding 12 months and the focus of this video is now much more on the buggying and in particular the racing.

Made by the same crew on the same equipment. It runs to 30 mins, again with specially composed music capturing the spirit and the people at this classic event.
